BS3 Community Café, Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Southville, Bristol BS3 1QG
Date: Friday 30th October 2026
Time: 11.00am – 12.30pm
Join us this October half term for a hands-on family clay workshop in the BS3 Community Café at the Southville Centre. We bring children and their parents, grandparents and carers together to explore clay. Furthermore, we create a fun and supportive environment where everyone can get creative.
We design each workshop around a theme. However, everyone is free to follow the theme or pursue their own ideas. We provide all clay and materials, so you don’t need to bring anything except your enthusiasm! At the end of the session, everyone takes their creations home. We also give each participant a free set of paints and a brush to decorate their piece at home.
Places are limited to 14, so we recommend booking early.
Who’s it for?
We welcome children of all ages, accompanied by a parent, grandparent or carer. Accompanying adults can join in and get their hands on clay too. Alternatively, you can sit nearby with a coffee and a laptop while your child creates. Either way, the BS3 Community Café is right there!
What you get
You’ll receive expert guidance in making an air-dry clay piece to an autumn theme – this half term it’s pumpkin and mushroom tealight holders. In addition, we give you free mini-pots of acrylic paints and a brush to take home. These allow you to decorate your finished piece once it has dried.
Duration: 1.5 hours
